This page explains the permission we ask local businesses for. It does not collect any data itself: permission is given by replying to us in writing (see "How to give permission" below). See the privacy policy and terms for how this fits into Lantern's wider data practices.
What this is
Lantern Media sometimes features local businesses in its video content (photos, video footage, the business's name, location, and a short description). We only do this with the business owner's explicit, written consent, recorded below. Nothing is published about a business without a completed form on file.
What we're asking permission for
- Using the business's name, address, and a general description in Lantern video content
- Using photos and/or video footage of the business (interior, exterior, products, or staff who have separately agreed to appear) supplied by the business or captured with the owner present
- Linking to the business's own Google listing, website, or social profiles from the video description
We are not asking for any payment, financial information, or ongoing commitment. A business can withdraw this consent at any time (see below); Lantern will remove the business from any future video and stop referencing it going forward (already published videos are not retroactively edited, but can be taken down on request — contact us).
How to give permission
Reply in writing (email, Zalo, Facebook or Instagram message) to the person who contacted you, confirming the business name, your name and role, which items below you agree to, and anything you would like in exchange (optional, no payment is required). We keep your reply as the record. The sample form below shows the information we need; it is not an online form.

We keep a record of your written reply (business, media granted, the exact text agreed to, and the date) so we can show what you agreed to.
